Every crime should be condemned and punished accordingly. There should be no relaxation for any type of crime.Sexual violence or in other words rape is most heinous and violent crime.Rape is a crime beyond pardon and punishment should be beyond imagination so rapist should get harsher punishment.
In a country like India daily a number of rape cases come to light still much more remain buried as victims don't come forward to book the accused .This is not bcoz they don't wish to take revenge but for the reasons beyond her control. The Indian society shows anger and hatred for victims.Even parents don't support and let them remain in mental trauma.Ultimately o the victims are forced to commit suicide for none of their fault.
After a big roar in Nirbhaya case govt has tred go tighten the rules for safety of women.
But women should be aware of her rights first and unfortunately those who fall prey to such wolves should not let them wanderfreely in the society.
The victim should first of all report to nearest police station and after that get her medical check up done. She should describe the incident to all her friends and relatives. The identity of rapist should be revealed so that he may learn a lesson.
It is must to bring in light the named of rapist so that the victim gets support from her parents and society and does not undergo mental trauma throughout her life.
Moreover this evil will continue unless strict laws and rigorous punishment is not awarded go accused. This is the right of victim that culprit goes behind bar and it will be a lesson for black rapists.
So constitutional reforms should be there so that sanctity of a woman is maintained. NGO should pursue the rspist woman to reveal the truth.Nirbhayas case has opened the eyes of law makers and of administration. Some reforms came into existence but still we read the rape cases in newspapers in every part of country. It means still some lapses are there on part of administration.
As women aware educated and self dependent they should not become weak rather they should raise their voice against criminal with an open voice. But society and administration together should leave no stone unturned for the safety of women.
